EoP Re: The Robert E Lee Beam in Stanley McChrystal’s Leadership Eye.
Yet for some, no penance can ever atone for Robert E Lee’s sins. Among them is retired four-star general Stanley McChrystal, who says in a new book, Leaders: Myth and Reality, that Lee’s public memory must be dispensed with. His recent op-ed in the Post is titled “Good riddance: Americans need to set aside icons like Robert E. Lee to live up to our potential.” In it, McChrystal explains why he—a graduate of Washington and Lee High School in Arlington, Virginia, and Lee’s alma mater, the U.S. Military Academy—determined after 34 years that it was time to send his personal portrait of Lee “to a local landfill for its final burial.” He writes in one recent article (also on Lee), “leadership itself is neither good nor evil. Malevolent leaders emerge as often as those we judge to be good. Leadership is better judged as either effective or not.” There is a hint of truth in this claim—yes, any leader, no matter now nefarious, should be studied for how he or she motivates people, crafts narratives, and achieves his or her goals. But since the ancient world, philosophers have argued that achieving good ends by immoral means nullifies the good achieved. Certainly immoral ends realized by immoral means are even worse. In either case, it doesn’t matter how effective the immoral actors are. Perhaps it is McChrystal’s embrace of relativism—so tangible in his writing on Lee—that explains his proposing Robespierre and Zarqawi as paragons of exemplary leadership. I’m no prophet, but I’d be willing to wager that Lee’s legacy will always shine brighter than that of McChrystal’s. – The American Conservative: The Beam in Stanley McChrystal’s Eye.
Barbara Fields: I think what we need to remember most of all is that the civil war is not over until we today have done our part in fighting it; as well as understanding what happened when the civil war generation fought it… We need to remember about the civil war is that the civil war is in the present, as well as in the past. The generation that fought the war, that argued over the definition of the war; that paid the price in blood, blasted hopes and a lost future; also established a standard that will not mean anything until we have finished the work. You can say there is no such thing as slavery anymore we are all citizens; but if we are all citizens then we have a task to do to make sure that that is not a joke. That some citizens are living in houses and others in the street; then the civil war is still being fought; and regrettably it can still be lost. – Ken Burns The 1865 Civil War: Episode 8 War Is All Hell; Episode 9 The Better Angels of Our Nature.
In The Looming Tower: Al-Qaeda and the Road to 9/11, Lawrence Wright quoted Jamal Khashoggi as saying that he and Bin Laden believed that “the first one [Islamic state] would lead to another, and that would have a domino effect which could reverse the history of mankind.” – The Arab Weekly: The Looming Tower: Jamal Khashoggi’s little-known past comes to light.

Lets face it people, like it or not, this country’s grotesque surplus of wealth would be scientifically impossible without a veritable banquet of holocausts spanning three continents and the entire Western Hemisphere. Scores of tribes in North and South America and Africa were reduced to cinder to create a level of concentrated wealth in Western Europe and its bastard breakaway states that is downright unnatural and white people on both sides of the Atlantic continue to enjoy the luxuries that this legacy of brutality provides us. Luxuries like slowly murdering ourselves with trans fats while others starve and declaring it a holiday. So if you’re white, you probably should feel a little bit guilty. Our ancestors did some dicked up shit, even mine. Though they may have came to this country as white niggers escaping their own holocaust on potato boats, my Irish Catholic kin still earned their right to whiteness by whooping on school buses full of black kids as good as any Catholic bashing WASP could. So we’ve zeroed in on the cause of white guilt, now how about the cure if there even is one? However well intentioned, forking over fists full of cash to poor people does nothing but make them dependent on the same kind of hierarchy that imprisoned them in the first place. Africa doesn’t need food, they need farms that aren’t owned by Monsanto and more than anything they need the bloodsucking monkey of Western Imperialism off their fucking back. So unless you can give them debt forgiveness save your money. – Exile in Happy Valley: The Trouble with White Guilt.

She asked forgiveness. ….. when I have released my anger and calmed down, then I think that maybe we will get to a point of sincere forgiveness with each other, as damaged adult children. However one of the very valuable things I learnt from Pila, was how to learn to listen; really really listen, to another person, not to prove them right or wrong, or to agree or disagree; just to understand. Only once you get to a point of understanding that you accurately heard what the other person is saying: can you know whether you agree or disagree. We will struggle to get to a point of sincere understanding of each other – where we can clearly know whether we agree on an issue; or can agree to disagree – if one or both of us is not willing to sincerely listen. The time that we don’t spend together I spend focusing on cooperating to educate others about finding people who want to abolish the root cause of damaged children breeding damaged children. Most of the psycho-emotional-social damage we experience as damaged children and adult damaged children is the result of resource conflict. Resource conflict is a result of clauses of international law that allow people to breed and consume above ecological carrying capacity limits, causing overpopulation and overconsumption collision with finite resources.

I don’t know what General Robert E Lee’s character definitions of honour or conscience were, upon which his military leadership strategic and tactical decision-making was founded. I don’t know what General Lee’s response would have been if one of his advisors had suggested an EoP TRC to End the American Abel and Kane Civil War [eoptrc-akcoldwar.tygae.org.za] option of implementing an EoP Scientific and Cultural law [eop-scicultlaw.tygae.org.za] Amendment to the US Constitution and Bill of Rights; requiring all Americans of all races, to procreate and consume below ecological carrying capacity limits. Would he have have said: Lets investigate to see if it can be done; or it can’t be done; or I don’t want it to be done, cause I like profiting of cheap economic and/or military cannon fodder labour. What would Robert E Lee’s honour and conscience response have been?
This is a question I have asked myself of other – Aryan / European / Jewish – leaders who had strong racial ideologies, such as Adolf Hitler, Hendrik Verwoerd [ENCA: Ask for forgiveness – Hendrik Verwoerd’s grandson to white South Africans; Desmond Tutu Peace Foundation: Hendrik Frensch Verwoerd: Archbishop Tutu recollects on Prime Minister Verwoerd], John Vorster [People: ‘A Cool Man on a Lion Hunt,’ South Africa’s John Vorster Tries to Head Off a Race War; Politicsweb: BJ Vorster and the sultan’s horse]; a distant family member of mine [20 Jul: Adi Schlebush: Re: OFS boers wanting to emigrate to Russia]; Golda Meir [A Woman Named Golda: 01.02].
If General Lee had accepted such advice and supported implementing an EoP Scientific and Cultural law [eop-scicultlaw.tygae.org.za] Amendment to the US Constitution and Bill of Rights; all other nations constitutions founded on US constitution principles would have followed suit, like dominoes leading to EoP Scientific and Cultural law [eop-scicultlaw.tygae.org.za] international law. Such EoP SciCult international law would have provided the legal protection of the natural capital foundation of all nations, races, religions, and life for all species; removed the need for standing armies, and enabled small governments, with no need for ‘masonic right to breed and consume resource thievery secret society intelligence agencies and lawyers’.
