Ms Hendriks:

LJ v LPC: Req for Info to Cape Law Soc Pro Bono Dept.

I requested the following information from the Legal Practice Council [18 Feb: Notice of H 45/19: LJ v CRL Rights Commission, filed at George High Court]:

[2.1] Does the Legal Practice Council know of any lawyers who would be willing to legally represent an individual who is a member of an Ecology of Peace culture?

[2.2] Does the Legal Practice Council know if there are any lawyers in South Africa who would be willing to represent applicant in a capacity of Assistance of Counsel / Standby Counsel?:

[A]  Assistance / Standby Counsel [Wikipedia: Standby Counsel; Federal Public Defender: Your Role as Standby Counsel]. Assistance/Standby counsel provide technical tactical assistance to individuals representing themselves Pro Se. Assistance/Stand by counsel peruse the applications and/or pleadings; to ensure that documents filed – affidavits, applications etc – are technically correct in accordance to court procedure requirements; to avoid wasting the courts time; and/or the respondents attorneys requesting the case be dismissed or thrown out of court on a legal technicality: ‘incorrectly formatted, filed, or signed’ legal documents. Standby counsel are generally used by activist minded individuals who have legal reform strategies that lawyers may be reluctant to pursue passionately.

[2.3] Request the Legal Practice Council issue a short factual statement confirming the results of aforementioned request, confirming that the applicant’s efforts to find a lawyer in South Africa willing to legally represent her in a capacity of (a) representation of counsel in accordance to her cultural values; or (b) assistance / standby counsel; to enable applicant to represent herself in accordance to her cultural values, but with assistance of a standby counsel to ensure that my documentation is in accordance to legal formatting requirements?.

Mr. Craig Lucas of the Cape Law Society responded [26 Feb: EoP Re: Cape Law Society Re: Notice of H 45/19: LJ v Legal Practice Council] that he was not able to provide the specific information requested from the LPC, but referred me to yourself, as the Cape Law Society: Pro Bono Coordinator.

We are not able to provide the specific information requested from the LPC, however it would appear that the only assistance that we can offer would be to refer you to the Pro Bono Department where you may make application for pro bono assistance should you meet the criteria set down for such assistance.  Should you wish to apply for assistance, please contact the Pro Bono Co-Ordinator, Ms R Hendricks, at ra-eesha.hendricks@capelawsoc.law.za.
– Craig Lucas: Re: Notice of H 45/19: Lara Johnson v Legal Practice Council, filed at George High Court.

I informed Mr Lucas that I would contact you to enquire whether the Cape Law Society Pro Bono Department has one or more lawyers who (a) would be willing to legally represent an individual who is a member of an Ecology of Peace (“EoP”) culture; or (b) who would be willing to represent applicant in a capacity of Assistance of Counsel / Standby Counsel. If such a lawyer exists as the Cape Law Society; then I can make an application for the pro bono assistance of such a Cape Law Society attorney.

Difference between EoP and WiP law [eop-v-wip-law.tygae.org.za].

If there is no such lawyer at the Cape Law Society Pro Bono Dept, then I don’t need to waste your time with a pro bono application for a lawyer that does not exist at the Cape Law Society Pro Bono Dept; and Mr Lucas will have his answer for the Legal Practice Council Head Office, as to whether the Cape Law Society Pro Bono Department has one or more lawyers who (a) would be willing to legally represent an individual who is a member of an Ecology of Peace culture; or (b) who would be willing to represent applicant in a capacity of Assistance of Counsel / Standby Counsel.

I have been represented by Western Cape attorneys – in Capetown: Malcolm Gezzler and Milton de la Harpe; Mossel Bay: Malan Mohale Beyers; George: Anton Marx, Arno Crous – whom I presume are members of the Cape Law Society – who were paid for by members of my family; or by the State as a result of In Forma Pauperis applications ot the High Court, or application to Legal Aid SA; who refused to legally represent me in accordance to my then Radical Honesty; now Radical Honoursty cultural values; and who refused to represent me as Standby / Assistance of Counsel.

Working Hypothesis: Lawyers Objected to following Cultural Values:

Culture of Honesty: They demanded that I engage in behaviour that I objectively and/or subjectively considered to be legal strategic and/or tactical advice that I should engage in conscious deception of the court – in legal terms fraud or perjury – that violated my honesty cultural values – and I refused. Its difficult to find honest lawyers, because – in fairness to lawyers – most citizens are two faced hypocrite fragile ego schmucks, who don’t want to take responsibility for their fuck ups, and don’t want an honest lawyer telling them to be responsible. So lawyers spend their entire lives being legal babysitters to fragile ego children pretending to be citizens. In legal terms its called ‘professional legal services’; in Radical Honesty culture terms its called ‘bullshit the public relations lying’. Examples of Radical Honesty: SHO: Brad Blanton: And Nothing But the Truth; Radical Honesty Channel: Radical Honesty: 01:02:03; The Importance of Telling the Radical Truth.

Culture of Honest Race Relations: They did not support my cultural values of buck stops here honest race relations: honesty with black people about procreation above ecological carrying capacity limits causes of resource conflict.

Cultural Advocacy Exposing Masonic War is Peace Law as root cause of all resource conflict [eop-v-wip-law.tygae.org.za]: They refused my legal strategic and/or tactical orders to inform the court of information and/or evidence in support of my cultural values to advocate on behalf of the strategic goal of exposing Masonic War is Peace law as root cause of all resource conflict, and implementing Ecology of Peace Scientific and Cultural law as international law.

A copy of this correspondence is documented at EoP Legal Submissions [eop-leg-sub.tygae.org.za]: LJ v CRL Rights Commission [lj-v-crlrc.tygae.org.za].

Respectfully

Lara Johnson,
Pro Se Applicant
