Graeme and Hilary:

Grg High Court: H 51/19: LJ v Graeme Johnstone et al.

There has been no response from either of you indicating your interest in Negotiation and/or Mediation. The Invitation to Negotiation or Mediation [PDF] explains negotiation and/or mediation procedures and rules.

If you think you may prefer negotiation and/or mediation I can delay serving of the application by means of the Sheriff. If however you don’t prefer negotiation or mediation; then I can get the Sheriff to serve the application and we can proceed via court proceedings.

If during court proceedings you decide that you want the matter to be referred to court annexed mediation; then you will have to get permission from the judge, but if I consent, which I will, it would be unusual for the Judge to deny the mediation referral request.

So please let me know by tomorrow morning, 28 Mar 2019 at 10 am, if you want me to delay serving the documentation by the Sheriff.
