Speaker: WCPP to hold EoP – Exit Babylon Ecocide Law – UN Res Vote.

The reasons people want Brexit, as far as I have encountered it, are because they are scared of the NHS; and they believe Brexit will fix it. The believe Brexit will fix all these things that Labour are campaigning about.  ….. Its almost a kind of none of the above, but obviously you have to vote. We don’t agree with how the party’s being run at the moment. Certainly the Labour manifesto wasn’t relevant. What did you want to see from it, that wasn’t in it? Realism. Its a fantastic manifesto in the sense that everything is for free. I mean its crazy. Do you always vote Conservative? No. How did you vote four or five years ago? Labour. – The Guardian: Anywhere but Westminster: How Labour lost, and the hope that endures.

In Stoke, Smeeth told us, the gravity of Labour’s defeats suggested an existential crisis, something she said she was looking forward to trying to fix. “Unless something significant changes, I don’t know what the Labour party is for. We don’t represent the people we were created to represent,” she said. – The Guardian: Working-class voters desert Labour as ‘red wall’ crumbles.
