Data First: Chris Jacoby
Req Quote: Retrieve data from crashed hard drive.
Re your response [19 Mar: DF-CJ Re: Req Quote: Retrieve data from crashed hard drive] to my request for data retrieval quote [18 Mar: Req Quote: Retrieve data from crashed hard drive].
DF: CJ: once the data Recovey has completed, would just an output list of the recovered files in exe or word suffice, or an forensic investigation be required for court?
EoP:LJ: I don’t know it would depend on the individuals who are alleging that the documents – a labour/property rental barter exchange agreement, and a notice of contents of will – do not exist on the particular crashed harddrive and were not submitted to the barter exchange respondent.
Could you please provide a quote for all options – (a) data recovery from crashed hard drive; (b) output list of recovered files in word.doc; (c) forensic investigation – and then we can see what their preferences are.
